The new Jivi JSP Q56 which has its price set at just Rs 4399 has been launched in India as one more cheap Android smartphone in a market that thrives on such offerings. Its maker is claiming it to be the country’s cheapest quad core handset right now.
The Jivi JSP Q56 is 3G capable and works on a 1.2GHz quad core processor. The phone has furthermore been blessed with 512MB worth of RAM and 4GB worth of storage space. That memory can definitely be expanded further, as this device comes equipped with a microSD card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional space.
The affordable Jivi handset has been hooked up with a 4.5-inch FWVGA display surrounded by dual front-facing speakers. Its thin 9.9mm body houses on it a two-camera setup consisting of an 8MP main unit and a 2MP front-facing snapper.
Android 4.4 KitKat has been revealed to be its base OS, while the JSP Q56’s operations are powered by a 2000mAh battery capable of offering 10 hours of talktime and 240 hours of standby time. Basic connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS have been granted to it by its maker, while an accelerometer sensor has also made it onboard.
